Largest industrial city of Swaziland and the capital of the Manzini province. The city's economic backbone is both on commercial and industrial activities. The City was originally known as Bremersdorp named after Alfred Bremer, who was a hotelier and trader. Around 1960, the town was renamed to Manzini city. The country trade fairs are held in the city each year at the Mavuso Trade Centre. Various sporting and social facilities have been built to improve the living condition of the people. The city also boast of one of the largest football stadium in Swaziland. Has a large handicraft market held on Thursday and Friday.
