Marble Hall is part of the Sekhukhune region in Mpumalanga Province of South Africa. This region straddles the boundaries of the Limpopo and Mpumalanga province. The town development started during 1942 when the town was named Marmerhol and later changed to Marble Hall during the Anglo Boer War. The town is a well known agricultural area with crops such as wheat, cotton as well as citrus grown.
