Chintsa East and Chintsa West are two separate towns, so to speak, on either side of the Cintsa River mouth. Both are mainly holiday towns with a golden beach that stretches literally for miles and miles. Fishing is definitely very popular at Chintsa. Chintsa West is a small holiday settlement on the western slope of the Cintsa River mouth. It consists of a few resorts and campsites, a restaurant/pub and a little convenience store.
