Inspired by passion, naiveté, and a desire to brew local hop forward ales in the village of Hogsback, they decided to move back to Hogsback from the big smoke and start the local brewing company on a Friday many, many years ago. In 2017, the Hogsback Brewing Company was brewed into existence. Their beer philosophy is straightforward. They work hard to make beer the way it should be with water from a little-known waterfall tucked away in a small area of native forest. Epic water, fresh ingredients, brewed where you drink it, fresh and flavorful, and most importantly, made with love and served by the brewer. They firmly believe in minimising their environmental impact, from the amount of water they use to the packaging in which your pulled pork bun is packaged. From our ridiculously good homemade ice cream, takeout coffee cups, the glass they serve heir beers in, to the food items in the deli fridge, they strive to make sure that their contribution to protecting Hogsback's natural environment is at the forefront of everything they do, make, and sell. Their packaging is recyclable and, for the most part, compostable.
