Malealea Pony Trekking starts from Malealea Lodge, in the town of Malealea. The horses are good-natured, relaxed ponies and cross-breeds that traverse a variety of paths - one to two hour rides, or even day and overnight rides. The guides are all sourced from the local town, and is part of a community upliftment programme set in place by Malealea Lodge. Tipping is optional. .
